Assistant Accountant

MCS Group is delighted to be partnering exclusively with a highly successful business based in Armagh to recruit an Assistant Accountant on a full-time, permanent basis. The Company Our client is a highly successful and fast-growing business with a strong reputation for delivering major projects across the UK and Europe. Due to continued growth, our client is expanding its finance function to meet increasing demand.

The Role As the successful Assistant Accountant, key responsibilities will include:
Assisting with VAT returns, intercompany transactions and reconciliations Taking ownership of international entities Supporting with payroll duties Assisting with management accounts What You Need to Succeed Previous experience in accounts/finance Experience bringing accounts up to trial balance is desirable Skilled in working with accounting software, ideally SAGE Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage a high-volume workload What's in it for You?
