We are recruiting an experienced Procurement Manager to lead procurement strategy, supplier performance, and supply chain activities within a busy manufacturing environment. This is a key leadership role offering the opportunity to drive cost savings, strengthen supplier relationships, and ensure continuity of supply across the business.

Reporting into senior leadership, you will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies that support operational and business objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading supplier sourcing, negotiations, and contract management.
• Driving cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Building and managing strategic supplier relationships.
• Ensuring material availability to support production requirements.
• Managing supply chain risks and supplier performance.
• Supporting inventory optimisation and working capital improvements.
• Leading and developing a small procurement team.
• Working closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Operations teams.

• Minimum 5 years' procurement experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record in supplier negotiations and contract management.
• Strong commercial awareness and cost-saving experience.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of supply chain and inventory management principles.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems.
• Degree qualified in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• CIPS qualification or equivalent would be advantageous.

Option 1 Monday to Thursday: 8:00am to 5:15pm
Friday: 8:00am to 12:00pm

Option 2 Monday to Thursday: 7:00am to 4:00pm
Friday: 7:00am to 12:00pm
