Repairs and Maintenance Worker

Camphill Communities of Ireland (CCoI) supports people with physical/intellectual disabilities and autism. CCoI operates Residential and Day Services across 15 locations, in which residents and day-attendees are supported to live an ordinary life, a life like any other.

We are currently recruiting for a Repairs and Maintenance Worker to join our team in Callan, Co Kilkenny (to cover in other local communities if required).

Repairs and Maintenance Worker

Permanent

Fulltime (40 hours per week)

€32,405- €43,430 per annum

• A Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualification
• A minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a similar role
• Demonstrate knowledge of maintenance service
• Competent at basic building repairs and maintenance, and planning and managing projects
• Experience of maintaining grounds/landscaping
• Working knowledge of Health and Safety Practices
• Must be a solid team player with ability to work on own initiative
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient IT skills relevant to the role, to include Microsoft and use of internal maintenance software for work orders
• A full driver's licence and availability of own car
