Home Manager We are now looking for a Maintenance Person, permanent in our Avila Nursing Home, Bessbrook. Hourly rate of £12.71, 32 hours per week, 9am-4.30pm Monday - Thursday, 9am-1pm Friday Join our team as a Maintenance Person where you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. Responsibilities Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues promptly to minimise downtime Supervise fire drills for staff and coordinate schedules Some light driving duties, for example, dropping scripts off or picking up packages Uphold safety protocols and regulations in all maintenance activities Some light painting and decorating, basic plumbing and gardening skills required.

Must have full UK driving licence. Experience - Proficiency in English for effective communication with team members and vendors - Strong customer service skills to interact with external contractors - Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair various equipment types - Familiarity with electrical systems and components - Prior experience in maintenance is a plus If you are a proactive individual with a passion for maintaining equipment and ensuring operational efficiency, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding Maintenance Person position.
