Armagh

The role: You will lead and coordinate operational and transformational business change activities throughout all key phases of the Equip Programme. Responsible for the successful transition to the new solution across RSSC, taking the lead for managing progress towards adoption, solution optimisation and achieving measurable improvements resulting from implementation of the Equip system. Develop a strategic change plan to support Equip implementation, with a particular focus on Recruitment Shared Services, play a significant role in business change activities associated with the equip programme, developing, delivering and monitoring change plans to ensure implementation of business change interventions and the delivery of the business case benefits.

You will have responsibility for leading engagement with, and mobilisation of, the HSCNI communities, staff, and service users (where appropriate), to identify and plan for the changes required to successfully deliver Equip benefits. You will work directly with the Programme team and business stakeholders to fully understand and define the people, process and technology changes required. You will provide leadership to the team and ensure that high standards of productivity, excellence and best practice are demonstrated.

Responsibilities:

Setting Direction/ Modernisation

  • Responsible for the transformational and business change development activities required to enable Equip to be delivered
  • Develop an overarching Business Change Management Plan, aligned to strategic objectives as outlined in the Equip Business Case, to support the successful delivery of Equip outcomes for the relevant business area
  • Analyse and present complex information from multiple stakeholders, programmes and projects. They will also be required to provide expert advice, analysis, judgement, and apply creative vision to determine, build consensus for and communicate the desired future state.
  • Contribute to the development and agreement of new regional policies and procedures, working collaboratively with the Programme's strategic Workstream, technical and programme management work streams, and the Equip Functional teams.
  • Analyse and develop an understand the current change maturity and create an action plan to achieve the desired future state, working with Training team to develop, deliver and evolve training.
  • Create actionable deliverables and include change reinforcement and success measures.
  • Work closely with the Training workstream to identify training opportunities to help employees understand and adapt to change.
  • Communicate the plans to build engagement and support for CM plans and an understanding of actions/interventions.
  • Prepare risk mitigation tactics for resistance and coach project teams, people managers on effective approaches to leading and embedding change, and managing resistance
  • Deliver focus groups, workshops and training to support organisational change
  • Drive the delivery of CM plans and the deployment of CM tools & interventions to build engagement, adoption and utilisation.
  • Measure and evaluate success of the CM plan, capture lessons and apply these to the Programme's & organisational change management capability.

Service Delivery

  • Collaborate with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including the Equip Programme team, Workstream and Functional Leads, staff and service users to ensure and enable business readiness to implement and adopt new systems and processes.
  • Set up project reporting and control structures for the activity associated with business readiness and transitional arrangements for system implementation to ensure effective change management, quality assurance and reporting of progress.

Quality & Governance

  • Lead by ensuring stakeholders are prepared for and manage follow up actions. Monitor action plans and ensure all relevant documents/recording mechanisms are kept up to date.
  • Work within the project Governance framework, ensuring that all activities, policies related to the delivery of Equip meet stated requirements.
