Quality Supervisor

VANRATH are delighted to be partnering with a long-term client that are hiring a Quality Supervisor to join their growing team.

You'll be joining an established food manufacturing business operating within a regulated, audit-driven environment. This role sits within the technical function and reports directly to the Technical Manager, working closely with NPD, production, intake, dispatch, and hygiene teams.

• Previous experience in a quality, technical, or food safety role within food manufacturing
• Strong working knowledge of GMP, food safety, and audit standards
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage production teams
• High attention to detail with a proactive, hands-on approach
• Confident working independently and providing clear instructions to others
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
• Ability to remain adaptable in a fast-paced production environment
• Desirable: multilingual communication skills

• Act as a key on-site presence ensuring the facility is audit-ready at all times
• Support and participate in internal, customer, and third-party audits
• Train teams on quality procedures and monitor ongoing compliance
• Monitor GMP, CCP, allergen, and traceability controls across production
• Investigate customer complaints and support corrective actions
• Liaise with external laboratories for testing and analysis
• Review production and NPD records, issuing and closing out non-conformances
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and risk assessment reviews
