Our Client, Nugent & Gibney Ltd, are seeking a Joiner to join their growing team on a Permanent basis, based in Armagh.
Nugent & Gibney LTD is a well-established manufacturer of bespoke contract furniture, specializing in furniture for the hospitality, licensed, and catering sectors with over 40 years of experience. Incorporated in 1976, the company provides custom-made furniture solutions globally, focusing on high-quality design, craftsmanship, and personalized service.
- Manufacture and assemble bespoke furniture to specification.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and production plans.
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Cut, shape and assemble timber and other materials with precision.
- Ensure all products meet company quality standards before dispatch.
- Work collaboratively with workshop team members to meet production deadlines.
- Carry out repairs or adjustments where required.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with health and safety regulations.
- Assist with loading and preparation of finished products if required.
- Proven experience working as a Joiner or Bench Joiner.
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
- Experience using woodworking machinery and hand tools.
- Relevant trade qualification in Joinery or Carpentry.
- Good understanding of health and safety within a workshop environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in bespoke or contract furniture manufacturing.
- Experience working within a fast-paced production environment.
- Knowledge of different wood types, laminates and finishing techniques.
