Reporting to the Technical Manager you will have responsibility for a small team, ensuring ongoing compliance with food safety, quality, legality and authenticity on site.

Management and delivery of BRCGS and customer requirements by ensuring that effective systems and procedures are in place and kept up to date with regards to NPD Trials, product launches, HACCP reviews, product specifications, sampling, testing, packaging approval, product labelling.
Maintain site food safety, quality, authenticity and legal requirements and Quality Management Systems Participation in site risk assessments to ensure they are completed for all tasks that may have an impact on site security, vulnerability and food safety, quality, authenticity and legality.

Minimum of 3 years relevant management experience in a Technical or Quality Assurance role, gained in a food manufacturing environment.
Good working knowledge of BRCGS standard
Can demonstrate sound technical auditing skills
Experience in HACCP, VACCP, TACCP & Quality Management systems
Desirable Criteria (it would be great if you have these but don't worry if you don't!)3rd level Qualification in Food related discipline
Train the trainer qualification
Level 3 or above HACCP Qualification Level 3 or above Food Safety Certificate Previous experience in dealing with customers
Allergen training
Working knowledge of retailer standards and audits
Knowledge of the bakery industry
