Position: Distribution Associate - Various Shifts
CS CR Distribution Associate – Day Shift – ALMAC
CPL has partnered with ALMAC Group to recruit a Distribution Associate for a temporary, ongoing contract.
- Pay Rate – Day Shift: £15.32 p/h;
Evening Shift: £17.88 p/h - Location – ALMAC Global Headquarters, Craigavon
- Benefits – 34 days holiday per annum
- Hours – 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Day Shift – 08:00 – 16:00 / 09:00 – 17:00
- Evening Shift – 16:00 – 00:00
Overall Role ObjectiveThe post holder will carry out clerical duties related to distribution orders shipping from Craigavon or Dundalk facilities. Duties include generating or independently reviewing shipping documentation required for effective control of material throughout dispatch and distribution processes, and following up on tracking and tracing shipments after dispatch. The role involves manual handling.
The post holder will complete all duties in a timely, accurate manner and in accordance with GMP.
Job Specific ResponsibilitiesUndertake all assigned duties in accordance with GMP and as detailed in relevant SOPs, reporting any deviation to the Distribution Supervisor and/or Team Leader.Ensure distribution activities are completed in accordance with approved documentation supporting each distribution programme.Perform and maintain computer transactions in line with distribution and material control systems.Prepare shipping documentation for Project and Ancillary shipments in accordance with relevant SOPs, the protocol‑specific GDS or shipment‑specific DSS, courier and customs regulations.Generate shipment invoices, e‑Cert documents (CofO, EUR1, ATR‑1 forms, etc.) and any other country‑specific documents/declarations for each shipment.Perform independent reviews of shipping documentation required for each dispatch in line with SOPs, GDS/DSS, courier and customs regulations.Track and trace outbound shipments with couriers after dispatch, ensuring delivery on time and highlighting exceptions to the relevant DC and Project contacts for follow‑up.Liaise with couriers regarding quotations, timelines, collections, onward shipping details and proof of delivery (POD).Collate and file shipping documentation for each shipment, ensuring all necessary actions and tasks have been completed.Carry out administrative duties such as photocopying, filing and archiving distribution documentation.Essential Requirements- Experience
- Previous experience working in a busy office environment, especially in archiving and filing.
- Experience using computerised systems.
- Qualifications – GCSE in five subject areas at Grade C or above, including Maths and English (or equivalent).
