Event Security Officer

Become an Event Security Officer with Paladin Security in Armstrong. This temporary, casual/on-call role offers opportunities for evening and weekend shifts, perfect to supplement your income.

Paladin Security is expanding its team of Event Security Officers to fill various roles including Stage Front, Access Control, and Security Supervisors. This position is ideal for candidates with previous event experience who possess a BC Security License and First Aid Training. You will actively monitor crowd behavior and ensure safety protocols are followed during events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Control access in restricted areas and VIP sections

• Conduct bag checks as per venue guidelines

• Monitor crowd safety and behavior proactively

• Respond to disorderly conduct and communicate with supervisors

• Support emergency procedures and evacuation routes

Requirements:

• Valid BC Security License

• Basic First Aid and CPR Certification

• Previous experience with events preferred

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Eligibility to work in Canada
