Electromagnetic Compatibility Engineer

As an  EMC/EMI Engineer , you play a critical role in guaranteeing electromagnetic compatibility across highly complex vessels: from defense ships to offshore installations and luxury superyachts. You make sure every system, from radar to communications, operates flawlessly together.

What you’ll be doing

Develop and manage EMC/EMI plans, especially for defense projects

Perform electromagnetic interference risk analyses

Advise on system layout, shielding, and grounding

Collaborate with engineers, suppliers, and clients

Document EMC strategies within technical project files

Who you are

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Maritime Engineering, or similar

Experience or knowledge of EMC standards (e.g. MIL-STD-461, Def Stan 59-411)

Analytical, structured, and solution‑oriented

Strong communicator across technical and non‑technical teams

Flexible and comfortable working across locations and project sites
