Job Description

As a Compliance Engineer at Elestor, it's your ultimate responsibility to make sure Elestor's revolutionary solution (the H  flow battery) follows the required legal compliance frameworks. In order to fulfill this highly important objective, your job is to plan, develop, and implement Elestor's technical compliance capabilities according to local, national, and international standards. The role of Compliance Engineer provides the opportunity to contribute to a new class of large-scale process installations for energy storage and work on a unique and exceptional challenge.

Because of the innovative H  flow battery, that's brand new and inhibits multiple elements of technology, the Compliance Engineer will encounter a very diverse, dynamic, and therefore, interesting playfield.

* Elestor's H  flow battery stores large amounts of bromine (chemistry field), stores hydrogen (atmospheric or pressurized) or connects it to hydrogen infrastructures (hydrogen field), connects to the electrical grid (energy storage field), and is implemented in a larger energy management system (data & security field).

Supervise adherence to regulations for the H  flow battery product

Create plans and strategies for dealing with compliance-related issues (including leading meetings)

Conduct examinations, experiments, and evaluations concerning safety and potential hazards (such as QRA, HAZOP, FMEA, LOPA)

Generate documents ensuring the safety of the product and produce reports on developments and processes related to compliance

Establish optimal methods for complying with regulations and lessening risks, and enhance understanding of product compliance through internal education

Clarify and outline the protocols and steps necessary for compliance to stakeholders and relevant authorities

Oversee issues of adherence to regulations in connection with product design and manufacturing (collaboration is key!)

Offer guidance to the management regarding matters associated with compliance
