As Head of Finance you own planning, reporting, cash and control, and you are the CEO’s partner on every decision that shapes the company’s financial future.

You are not only a controller. You are a hands-on finance leader who builds structure where it is needed, gives the board and management clear insight, and helps the business make faster, better decisions.

• Own budgeting, forecasting and the multi-year business plan, including revenue planning and cash runway scenarios.
• Lead monthly and quarterly closing, management reporting and board reporting with clear, timely insight.
• Manage cash, working capital, invoicing and collections across customers and regions.
• Partner with the CEO and board on funding, investor and shareholder topics, and strategic options.
• Build and improve finance processes, tooling and internal controls that scale with the business.
• Coordinate with accountants, auditors, tax advisors and banks, and keep compliance on track.

• Management and board have a reliable, up-to-date view of performance, cash and runway.
• Closing and reporting cycles run on time with high quality and few surprises.
• Cash collection and working capital improve measurably.
• Finance processes and controls are clear, documented and ready for growth or transaction scrutiny.

Potential progression includes a CFO role as Nexus Grid scales and the finance function expands, depending on performance and business needs.

• A university degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field; RA, RC or equivalent is a plus.
• Solid experience in finance leadership, ideally in a scale-up, technology or B2B environment.
• Strong command of budgeting, forecasting, cash management and management reporting.
• Experience with board and shareholder reporting and with external auditors.
• A hands-on, structured approach and the confidence to challenge and advise management.
• Fluent English;
  Dutch is a strong advantage.

• Experience with funding rounds, M&A or due diligence processes.
• Exposure to international entities, transfer pricing or multi-currency operations.
• Experience with project-based or hardware plus SaaS revenue models.
• Familiarity with modern ERP, BI and financial planning tools.
• Understanding of the energy or utility sector.
