Senior Security Officer; Netwerk Operations

Please note that for this role we are looking for someone proficient in Dutch (C1 level) and already living in the Netherlands.

As a Security Officer within the Network Operations portfolio, you play a key role in maintaining the safety and reliability of the Dutch energy network.

• Maintain the relationship between the CISO Office and Network Operations components.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement, configure, and evolve security practices.
• Develop security‑related frameworks and guidelines as part of the overall policy.
• Assess the effectiveness of measures and implementations to demonstrate the performance of the Information Security Management System (ISMS).
• Advise on projects and tenders regarding security requirements and their assessment.
• Translate security frameworks and guidelines into practical measures that fit operational processes and digital developments.
• Support teams in applying security best practices, oversee the proper use of security solutions, and contribute to certifications and compliance requirements of regulators.

• Minimum bachelor level education in Security Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, or other IT disciplines.
• At least five years of experience as a security officer or in a similar role.
• Relevant security certifications such as CISSP or CISM.
• Demonstrated knowledge of ISO 27001, ISO 27002, ISO 27019, and NIST.

Based on a 40‑hour workweek, salary ranges from 6311 to 9016 gross per month (scale 11). You also receive an annual individual choice budget (IKB) of 18% (full time) or 12.8% (part time) of your gross annual salary, which can be used for additional vacation days, a year‑end bonus, or a DI‑budget of 700 for sustainable employability.
