Position Summary

The Business Administration department is seeking part‑time faculty who can teach at least one face‑to‑face course in accounting (both financial and managerial courses, as well as potential upper‑level courses), beginning in the Spring 2024 semester. Familiarity with the Canvas Learning Management System is a plus.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

assessing student progress in meeting course learning objectives through formal and informal assessment, holding in‑person or virtual office hours, meeting required deadlines for submitting grades, attendance, and other information, as requested, and adhering to safety procedures and departmental standards.

Required Qualifications
  • A master's degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field, OR an active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, and at least two years of full‑time professional accounting experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience teaching college accounting courses and availability to teach face‑to‑face or online synchronous courses during business hours (8:30‑4:30).
