Position Summary:

Math part‑time faculty teach developmental and credit courses ranging from Arithmetic through Calculus and staff the virtual and face‑to‑face tutoring labs.
We value experience working with diverse student populations. A willingness to teach at any AACC location, various course formats, daytime face‑to‑face, and/or a non‑traditional schedule (weekends/nights) is preferred.

• Provide instruction in accordance with established curriculum and course outlines.
• Maintain appropriate standards of professional conduct and ethics.
• Maintain current knowledge in the subject matter areas.
• Fulfill professional responsibilities of a part-time/temporary faculty member.
• Teach all scheduled classes.
• Maintain accurate records.
• Assignments may include day, evening, weekend, online and/or off‑campus classes.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics or related field required to teach developmental mathematics courses.
• Master's degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or related field required to teach credit level math courses.
• Proven instructional experience and dedication to student success.

• Two years teaching experience in mathematics.
