Position SummaryThe School of Liberal Arts is looking for part-time faculty to teach Political Science courses. The position requires teaching in a face-to-face, in-person format during daytime hours on the Arnold Campus and experience with online learning management systems.
Job Duties and Responsibilities- Providing instruction in accordance with established curriculum and course outlines
- Assessing student progress toward learning objectives through formal and informal assessments
- Maintaining accurate records and meeting all required deadlines for submitting grades, attendance, and other requested information
- Adhering to safety procedures and departmental standards, maintaining appropriate professional conduct and ethics
- Fulfilling the responsibilities of a part-time faculty member and teaching all scheduled classes
- A master's degree in Political Science or a related field
- College-level teaching experience preferred
- One year of experience
