We are building a pool of qualified part-time faculty to support our academic programs. Candidates will be contacted as needed each semester based on student enrollment and program requirements. The Biology department at AACC seeks part-time faculty for classroom instruction.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full‑time basis. Employment‑based visa sponsorship is not available. In the best interest of the College, only residents of Maryland or one of the following states will be eligible:
Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, or the District of Columbia.

• Teach assigned classes in accordance with department expectations.
• Assess student progress toward learning objectives through formal and informal assessment.
• Adhere to safety procedures and departmental standards.
• Meet required deadlines for submitting grades, attendance, and other information.

• Master’s degree or higher in biology or a closely related field.

• Teaching experience preferred.
