Part‑Time Faculty – Radiologic Technology Program (RAD)
Observe, instruct, and evaluate students in the clinical and laboratory settings on a weekly to bi‑weekly basis. Provide timely feedback on clinical performance, communicate with clinical site personnel, submit required assessments, attend off‑campus locations, participate in assessment and accreditation processes, maintain confidentiality, enforce policies, prepare course materials, and comply with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities- Observe, instruct and evaluate students in the clinical setting and/or laboratory setting on a weekly to bi‑weekly basis; provide timely feedback on students’ clinical performance.
- Communicate with clinical site personnel regarding student performance and program expectations.
- Submit all required clinical assessments to the Clinical Coordinator.
- Respond in a timely manner to emails, information requests, and required clinical assessments.
- Attend off‑campus locations with on‑campus presence as needed.
- Participate in assessment process, as appropriate.
- Maintain current knowledge of the professional discipline.
- Maintain national registry and state licensing credentials.
- Attend and participate in faculty meetings as well as program‑related activities as necessary.
- Comply with the current clinical partner’s onboarding requirements and AACC’s employment requirements.
- Participate in periodic review and revision of course materials and learning outcomes assessments.
- Participate in preparation for JRCERT accreditation reports and site visits as necessary.
- Maintain confidentiality of student information.
- Enforce appropriate rules and expectations of students in clinical, lab, or simulation settings that comply with AACC Radiologic Technology Department policies and procedures.
- Prepare and maintain course outlines, objectives and syllabi as necessary.
- Hold academic and/or professional credentials appropriate to the subject content area taught.
- Knowledgeable of course development, instruction, evaluation, and academic advising.
- Hold current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and registration, or equivalent, in radiography.
- Licensed in Maryland to practice radiography.
- Hold current CPR certification.
- Ability to work with individuals of diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally through both verbal and written skills.

Location: Arnold/Main Campus – this position requires regular in‑person presence on campus and at alternative locations, depending on class schedule and other assigned duties.
Work Schedule:
Monday‑Friday, variable hours in the day/evening; limited weekend shifts.
Employment Type: Part‑Time Faculty, Non‑Exempt.
Work Type: Part‑Time Faculty.
Eligibility: Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full‑time basis. Employment‑based visa sponsorship (including H‑1B) is not available. In the best interest of the College, only individuals who are residents of Maryland or the following states will be eligible for employment at the college:
Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia or the District of Columbia.
