As a Business Relationship Manager I (BRM) in Business Banking, you'll help improve the lives of our clients and their businesses through financial solutions, education, and advice. You will manage a portfolio of new and existing business clients by building relationships and providing financial advice, focusing on client experience and risk management.

• Acquire, manage, and retain a portfolio of 100 – 130 business clients with annual revenue of $1 - $5 million for your assigned branches; provide business deposit and cash management solutions and manage business credit opportunities up to approximately $500,000
• Deliver an outstanding experience to Chase business clients by providing comprehensive and customized business banking solutions tailored to their financial needs and circumstances
• Use knowledge of business, finance, banking, credit, and risk management to identify, recommend, and promote solutions that serve the client and ensure portfolio profitability
• Conduct in-person calls with prospects, centers of influence (COIs), and existing clients at their places of business. Follow a disciplined relationship development process and review strategies regularly with your manager
• Identify and pursue potential new business clients, cultivating long-term banking relationships
• Identify clients' financial goals and needs; build relationships with partners across lines of business to connect clients with specialists
• Support your branches and adhere to risk management protocols and regulatory requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience in Business Banking Relationship Management or related business lending
• Knowledge of business credit, core business products, and practices, with understanding of different industry needs
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships internally and externally
• Ability to balance client needs with risk considerations and escalate issues when necessary
• Proficiency in MS Office tools including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power Point

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field or equivalent work experience
• Strong existing business network
