Position OverviewIn this full-time, night shift role, you will:
- Assist in planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating operations and patient care.
- Serve as a clinical resource for both staff and patients.
- Function as a staff nurse when needed, ensuring high-quality care.
- Take on managerial duties as delegated by your manager.
- Perform all responsibilities in alignment with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
To thrive in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:
- Education: Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.
- Licensure: Maintain a current RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure.
- Certification:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or complete within 30 days of hire).
- Additional certifications may be required based on your unit, including ACLS, NRP, ENPC, and more.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in patient care; supervisory experience is preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push, pull 50 lbs regularly, and perform various physical tasks throughout your shift.
