As an RN Supervisor in our Main Operating Room, you’ll play a pivotal role in overseeing nursing services, ensuring top-notch patient care, and leading a dedicated team.
Your Role and ResponsibilitiesIn this dynamic position, you will:
- Organize and administer nursing services in the operating room.
- Plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate patient care operations.
- Assume managerial duties as delegated by the OR Manager.
- Demonstrate fiscal responsibility in all aspects of your role.
- Orient new coworkers and support team members in collaboration with the Resource Coordinator and OR Nurse Clinician.
- Champion continuous quality improvements to achieve excellent clinical outcomes.
- Foster an environment of fairness, integrity, and compassion in all interactions.
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of RN experience in the operating room.
- Education: Graduate from an accredited RN program (BSN preferred).
- Certifications: Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
