Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) – T1278

Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial: $16.25 USD per hour.

• Communicating effectively and using positive language to address guest needs
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
• Attention to detail while prioritizing tasks
• Ability to educate guests about products and services
• Ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Staying focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple tasks within time frames

• Demonstrate a service culture by delivering the service standard and creating a welcoming guest experience
• Greet guests and assist with daily tasks; actively engage to solve guest needs
• Inform guests about current promos, store activities, and events
• Know the tools, products, and services available to assist guests and improve their experience
• Thank guests and acknowledge their choice to shop at Target
• Explain the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with sign-up as needed
• Scan and bag items efficiently and accurately, in compliance with safety standards
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
• Explain and demonstrate features of the Target App (including Wallet) and assist with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering
• Handle returns following store policy, escalating to leadership as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist with stock as needed
• Comply with safety policies and report hazards
• Support guest services for orders, Drive-Up, and related duties with compliance with laws (e.g., adult beverage laws)
• All other duties based on business needs

• You should be able to communicate effectively and remain attentive to guests’ needs
• Willing to learn and engage with guests about products and services
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
