Pony Bird is a not‑for‑profit agency in Jefferson County that provides employment supports to individuals with disabilities. We are hiring a full‑time Job Support Professional to train and support individuals with disabilities working on our contracted cleaning crew so they can develop job‑ready skills for future employment in the community.

Monday – Friday, 1:00 pm – 9:00 pm

• Train and support individuals with disabilities to complete their cleaning/janitorial job tasks.
• Ensure sites are cleaned to required standards.
• Assist individuals to develop job readiness skills.
• Communicate with contacts at sites.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Provide progress note documentation (handwritten and computer entry).
• Transport individuals served to contracted sites using agency vehicles.

• Minimum of high school diploma/GED. Experience in cleaning and/or social services is helpful.
• Minimum age 21 (due to van insurance).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to stand and walk primarily during shifts.
• Clean background check required.
• Drug‑free workplace with pre‑employment and random drug screening.
