Salary ranging from £32,500 to £36,500 basic, depending on experience

Duties of the MOT Technician:
Conduct MOT tests in accordance with DVSA standards
Perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs to manufacturer standards
Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults
Complete comprehensive vehicle health checks
Ensure all vehicles are safe, roadworthy, and repaired to a high standard
Work efficiently to meet workshop productivity and quality targets
Maintain accurate records of work carried out as the MOT Technician
Collaborate effectively with team members in a busy workshop environment
Requirements of the MOT Technician :
Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification
Valid MOT Tester licence is essential
Minimum of 3 years' practical workshop experience
Previous experience within a main dealership is advantageous
Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and electrical fault-finding skills
Attention to detail with pride in your workmanship
Positive attitude and excellent team working skills
Full UK driving licence with a maximum of 6 points
