Sen Teaching Assistant

Responsibilities

The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will work between 8:30am and 4pm, supporting pupils through small group work, adaptive learning strategies, play‑based learning, personal care, behaviour regulation and Pre‑Key Stage assessment within the classroom.

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or 6 months plus relevant experience
• Experience supporting children and young people with SEND
• Strong understanding of adaptive teaching and behaviour support strategies
• Experience supporting pupils with emotional regulation and personal care
• Knowledge of Pre-Key Stage assessment and differentiated learning approaches
• A patient, proactive and can‑do attitude
