Teacher Active is looking for General Classroom TAs / Teaching Assistants to work in primary schools across the Nottingham area. The TA / Teaching Assistant role involves assisting the teacher with classroom management and supporting children with their work. Positions are temporary with the potential to become permanent if the school wishes.

The ideal TA / Teaching Assistant should have the following:

• At least Level 2 or 3 qualified and/or a minimum of 6 months experience in an educational establishment
• A calm, patient and caring persona
• Good communication skills
• A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines

All of our supply staff are paid on a PAYE basis, so you can rest assured that you are paying the right level of tax and National Insurance and that there are no extra administrative charges.
