We are looking to recruit a SEND Teaching Assistant to work within specialist SEND provisions across Nottingham. The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will support students with ASD and SEMH on a one-to-one and small group basis, encouraging engagement, independence, and positive behaviour. This SEND Teaching Assistant role offers flexible day-to-day work with the opportunity to secure a long-term position for the right SEND Teaching Assistant
. The ideal SEND Teaching Assistant will be confident adapting support to meet individual learning needs while working closely with teachers and support staff. As a SEND Teaching Assistant
, you will play a key role in creating a positive learning environment where every student is supported to achieve their potential.

• At least 6 months' experience working within a UK education setting
• Experience supporting students with ASD and SEMH
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
• A patient, resilient, and proactive approach to supporting learning
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable but not essential
