Functional Skills Tutor

The successful Functional Skills Tutor will be responsible for delivering Functional Skills Maths and English sessions to secondary-aged learners, supporting students on both a one-to-one and small group basis, and helping them work towards their educational targets and qualifications.

• A relevant teaching, tutoring, or assessor qualification
• Experience delivering Functional Skills Maths and/or English
• Experience working with secondary-aged students
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• The ability to engage and motivate learners with varying abilities
• A patient, adaptable, and resilient approach
