Salary £30,333 to £32,613 per annum (pro rata if part time)

Nottinghamshire Police is seeking two motivated and proactive Civil Orders Officers to join the newly established Neighbourhood Offender Risk Management (NORM) Team within Public Protection.

This exciting new role has been created to strengthen the force's use of Sexual Risk Orders and other preventative civil orders, supporting our commitment to tackling Child Sexual Abuse, Rape and Serious Sexual Offences, and protecting those most at risk of harm.

Working alongside officers managing MAPPA Category 2 and 3 Offenders and Potentially Dangerous Persons, you will play a key role in identifying risk, developing robust civil order applications, and supporting the ongoing management of offenders within the community.

You will also provide specialist support across Public Protection, working closely with colleagues within:

• Management of Sexual and Violent Offenders (MOSOVO)
• Rape and Serious Sexual Offences (RASSO)
• Child at Risk of Exploitation (CARE)
• Child Abuse Investigation Unit (CAIU)
• Legal Services
• External safeguarding partners

What You’ll Be Doing

• Identifying opportunities to utilise Sexual Risk Orders and preventative civil orders
• Supporting investigations by applying for civil orders
• Producing high-quality applications for court and liaising with the legal services department
• Monitoring compliance and supporting investigations into breaches
• Providing specialist advice and guidance to investigators and offender managers
• Contributing to innovative approaches to offender management and safeguarding

• Ideally, have experience within Public Protection, Safeguarding, Investigations or Offender Management
• Understand risk management and vulnerability.
• Are confident analysing information and presenting clear recommendations.
• Build strong professional relationships and work collaboratively.
• Are committed to protecting children and vulnerable adults.
