Loading Shovel Driver – Wood Recycling Facility

Nottingham, NG4

Pay: £16.50 per hour

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 4:00am – 2:00pm

Break: 30-minute unpaid break

We are looking for an experienced Loading Shovel Driver to join a busy wood recycling facility in Nottingham (NG4). This is a full-time, ongoing position offering consistent weekday hours and a competitive hourly rate.

• Operate a loading shovel safely and efficiently.
• Load wood waste and recycled materials into processing machinery.
• Move, sort and stockpile materials around the site.
• Carry out daily vehicle inspections and safety checks.
• Report any defects or maintenance issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Follow all site health and safety procedures.

• Previous experience operating a loading shovel.
• A valid Loading Shovel licence or recognised competency certificate.
• Experience with in recycling, waste management or a similar industrial environment is desirable.
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work the 4:00am start.
• Own transport is recommended due to the early start time.

• £16.50 per hour.
