Mobile Maintenance Technician

Mobile maintenance technician post covering several Brooke Weston Trust schools, with the post-holder moving between sites to carry out repairs and planned work. The core work is responsive repairs, routine maintenance and site improvements, alongside compliance tasks and urgent call-outs when needed. What sets it apart is the hands-on, varied mix of work spread across multiple sites rather than one building.

Visa sponsorship is not available, and the post can start as soon as possible.

• Provide a responsive maintenance service, carrying out repairs across multiple Trust sites
• Carry out routine maintenance tasks and site improvements that support daily running of schools
• Resolve issues quickly by working with school staff, contractors and Trust colleagues
• Support planned maintenance programmes
• Contribute to statutory compliance activities
• Identify and address potential risks on site
• Maintain accurate records using electronic systems
• Respond to urgent repairs and site-related incidents when required
• Deliver maintenance solutions that minimise disruption to teaching and learning

• Experience in facilities or building maintenance
