We have a unique and exciting opportunity for acommunications and marketing profession alto join our dynamic and multi-skilled communications team at Nottinghamshire Police.

As a Communications and Marketing Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping to create and deliver targeted campaigns that help change behaviours.

Working with our Campaigns Manager and wider team, you will support the organisation's communication and engagement activities and the efforts of police officers to tackle crime and improve public safety.

You will be creating engaging and newsworthy content for the organisation’s website, social media accounts and materials that make our campaigns stand out. With a flair for creativity, you'll use the Adobe Creative Suite to produce eye-catching designs, alongside engaging copy.

We are looking for someone from a communications or marketing background who is self-motivated, passionate and keen to make a difference. You will be able to demonstrate working within various communication specialisms and delivering impact.

An understanding of analytics and evaluation techniques, campaign and content planning, and working with partner organisations to achieve positive outcomes would highlight your suitability for this role.

Nottinghamshire Police is an ambitious police force with a focus on delivering an impactful communications strategy that puts people, storytelling and content at the heart of everything we do.

Our intention is to connect with local residents, making sure we enable the organisation to engage with the people it serves, protecting them from crime through awareness-raising activity while offering reassurance and confidence.

This job will be based at force headquarters, but there is an expectation that the successful candidate may occasionally be required travel to other locations or work outside normal office hours.

The closing date for this role is:
Sunday 30 August and interviews will be held on:
Tuesday 8 September at Force Headquarters.

Vetting Level – Management – you must have resided in the UK for at least the last 5 years, with less than 12 months spent abroad (some exceptions for those living on a UK military base).
