Bachelor's degree (subject matter competencies) - Experience:
State-mandated experience in teaching Math; knowledge of curriculum and instructional strategies. - Personal Qualities: resourceful, innovative, helpful, diligent, persistent, collaborative.
- Other:
Valid California Driver’s License (preferred).
- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teach math, including curriculum design and instruction, at appropriate levels, including advanced placement.
- Provide individualized and small group instruction as needed.
- Develop lesson plans, assess student progress, and maintain accurate records.
- Use data to improve learning and instruction.
- Maintain classroom standards of behavior and create a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with staff, parents, and administrators to support student success.
- Work days: 184 days, 1.0 FTE
- Annual salary: $60,544 to $100,773 (entry-level placement; prorated based on FTE, start date, experience, and additional credits.)
