• Valid California teaching credential with authorization to teach Mathematics grades 9-12 in a departmentalized setting.

  Bachelor's degree (subject matter competencies)
• Experience:
  State-mandated experience in teaching Math; knowledge of curriculum and instructional strategies.
• Personal Qualities: resourceful, innovative, helpful, diligent, persistent, collaborative.
• Other:
  Valid California Driver’s License (preferred).

• DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Teach math, including curriculum design and instruction, at appropriate levels, including advanced placement.
  • Provide individualized and small group instruction as needed.
  • Develop lesson plans, assess student progress, and maintain accurate records.
  • Use data to improve learning and instruction.
  • Maintain classroom standards of behavior and create a positive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with staff, parents, and administrators to support student success.

• Work days: 184 days, 1.0 FTE
• Annual salary: $60,544 to $100,773 (entry-level placement; prorated based on FTE, start date, experience, and additional credits.)
