We are now accepting applications for a certificated Social Studies Teacher beginning in the  school year.

• Valid California teaching credential with an authorization to teach Social Science in grades 9-12
• CLAD/BCLAD/EL authorization (Emergency permits are not accepted)
• A Bachelor's Degree, including all courses needed to meet credentialing and subject matter competency
• Experience as mandated by California law and accepted by the district

• Plan, deliver, and assess a rigorous Social Studies curriculum aligned with state standards and district policies
• Incorporate language, writing, and critical thinking skills into instruction for all students
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs, including advanced placement and inclusive settings
• Maintain a positive, behaviorally consistent classroom environment and collaborate with colleagues to support student success
• Use data to improve instruction, provide timely feedback to students and parents, and maintain accurate records and progress reports
• Participate in faculty committees, professional development, and required in‑service activities

• Full‑time, 1.0 FTE (probationary position) with annual entry‑level salary placement from $60,544 to $100,773
• Health benefits on the 2025‑2026 plans (2026‑2027 plans available Spring 2026)
• Full‑time, 184 work days per the district instructional calendar
