NOTICE OF VACANCIES
WINTER ATHLETIC COACHES - MULTIPLE SITES
SCHOOL YEAR

We are now accepting applications for the following Winter coaching positions for the  school year.

POSITIONS:

High School Head/Assistant Coach (Nipomo High School, Arroyo Grande High School)

• Levels:
  Freshman, Junior Varsity, and Varsity

Middle School Coach (Mesa Middle School, Paulding Middle School, Judkins Middle School)

• Sports:
  Girls Basketball, Boys Basketball

Additional Positions:

• High School Coaches for Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Girls Wrestling, Boys Wrestling, Boys Soccer, Girls Soccer, Cheer/Pep Squad

Middle School Coaches for 7th and 8th grades:

• Sports:
  Girls Basketball, Boys Basketball

STIPEND:

• High School Coach Stipend:
  Based upon position, sport, and level.
• High School Athletic Salary Schedule information listed on page 3 of the Certificated Salary Schedule.
• Middle School Coach Stipend: $2,050

REQUIREMENTS:

• Demonstrated knowledge, competence, experience, and success or skill in the sport or related sport.
• Two seasons of previous coaching experience at high school or higher level (Varsity).
• One season of previous coaching experience at high school or higher level (Assistant).
• Valid California driver’s license.
• DOJ and FBI background clearance.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

• External candidates:
  Complete an online application via Frontline, include a letter of interest, resume, and one signed letter of recommendation. Drivers must also complete the Driver Registration Form and submit a DMV Pull Notice.
• Internal certificated candidates:
  Complete the Certificated Teacher Interest Form.
• Internal classified/substitutes:
  Complete an online application via Frontline, indicating current employment, and include a letter of interest and resume.
• Volunteer candidates:
  Complete the LMUSD Volunteer Registration form online. Drivers must also complete this form.
• Driver candidates:
  Complete the Driver Registration Form and submit a DMV Pull Notice prior to transporting students.

Final date to receive applications: Applications are due until filled.
