Wind Turbine Technician (Entry Level) – Oso Grande Windfarm:
Maljamar, NM

This role is located at Oso Grande Windfarm in Maljamar, NM. It is considered an entry level role in the Wind Turbine Industry.

• Service and maintenance of Siemens Gamesa wind turbines.
• Complete technical work orders.
• Interact with teammates and customers with a safety‑first mentality.
• Background in skilled trades or technical work experience preferred.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical college degree, certification or apprenticeship in electrical/mechanical systems desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to work safely and effectively in a team environment.
• Physical ability to reach up to 300 ft, climb ladders (267 steps), stand/lift, work in confined spaces, extreme weather, etc.; must meet body‑weight restriction of 265 lb.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; may be subject to periodic DMV checks.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; no employer‑sponsored work authorization required.
• Hands experience with electrical systems including PLC programming and converters preferred.

• Contribute to improvement of field procedures and standard methodologies.
• Work inside turbine enclosures at elevated height.
• Maintain composure under stressful and hazardous situations.
• Resolve problems independently and prioritize daily/weekly tasks.
• Support additional roles and responsibilities at an operating wind farm.
