Field Technician

HF Sinclair Midstream, located in Artesia, NM, is seeking a Field Technician responsible for transportation and purchasing of crude oil. This role involves testing, measuring, and monitoring crude oil at the tank battery, conducting measurements and sampling, performing administrative duties, inspecting equipment, and providing technical leadership to less experienced staff.

• Perform custody transfer operations and prepare related documentation.
• Act as liaison with producer representatives.
• Conduct equipment inspections, calibrations, and maintenance.
• Manage measurement and sampling at terminals or pump stations.
• Handle measurement disputes and interface with government agencies.
• Supervise or lead less experienced staff as needed.

• Minimum three years of relevant experience in oil and gas operations, military fuel management, or pipeline operations.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong measurement, mathematical, and safety skills.

• Field-based with 60% travel required.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions and environments.
• Shift work and 24-hour on-call availability may be required.
