Senior Accountant

A consumer product client is looking for a Senior Accountant, who will be responsible for day-to-day accounting operations. You will report to the Controller and work closely with multiple departments assisting with improving accounting procedures and financial reporting requirements. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $80,000 to $90,000 per year.

• Manage all general ledger accounts including reconciliations, analysis, and resolution.
• Process bi-weekly payroll and benefits maintenance.
• Oversee inventory management issues (physical count, inventory movements/errors, etc.), calculate and track inventory reserves and analysis.
• Assist with preparing internal financial reports, budget, and variance analysis.
• Maintain compliance with state and local taxing authorities including monthly sales tax returns, personal property tax return and 1099/W-9 process.

• Self-motivated, efficient team-player with a cheerful outlook
• Strong Microsoft Office Skills with focus on Excel

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• 5+ years of accounting experience
