Electrical Engineer II $100K-$130K yearly, South Point, OH.
** DIRECT HIRE **
Mon-Fri 7:00 am to 4:30 pm.

- Read and interpret electrical, technical drawings, and schematics at a high level.
- Create electrical design drawings using AutoCAD Electric.
- Work from project specifications and reference documents to update and/or create new electrical power and control design documents under guidance of senior engineers.
- Perform most electrical calculations for current and new designs with limited assistance.
- Update instrumentation and electrical/control portions of P& with little guidance.
- Program PLCs and HMIs; set up most PID loop designs with limited assistance from senior electrical engineer.
- Use MS Office and related business software; perform basic functions.
- Use Epicor to add and manage BOMs; conduct required research and assist with project schedule management.
- Assist in leading a team of engineers, designers, and drafters to resolve design challenges.
- Perform intermediate electrical troubleshooting and problem solving with some oversight.
- Interface with engineering, manufacturing, and operations staff productively to gather information for electrical design work.
- Participate in engineering design meetings to learn and grow experience of design methods and processes.
- Work closely with fellow engineers, designers, and drafters to improve quality and efficiency.
- Guide entry‑level electrical designers and CAD drafters in the performance of their work.
- Contribute to electrical design reviews for new and existing product designs.
- Advanced knowledge of the National Electric Code, IEEE standards, MSHA, and other applicable standards.
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience in PDC (Power Distribution Center) field.
