An opportunity is available for a registered nurse with telemetry experience to work on a specialized surgical/telemetry unit in Arvada, CO. This contract role offers a dynamic clinical environment focused on post‑operative and cardiac patient care. The unit features state‑of‑the‑art facilities, including ADA‑compliant bariatric rooms with hoyer lifts, supporting a diverse patient population undergoing elective orthopedic, spine, and gynecologic surgeries, as well as cardiac procedures such as post‑PCI and ablation.

Qualifications / Desired Experience- Current RN license with telemetry nursing experience
- ACLS certification (required)
- NIH Stroke Scale certification (required)
- BLS certification (required)
- Experience in cardiac telemetry and/or surgical nursing preferred
- Ability to manage multi‑tasking in a fast‑paced environment with occasional high patient turnover
- Friendly, outgoing personality with strong teamwork skills
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients recovering post‑operatively and those needing cardiac telemetry monitoring
- Monitor and manage patients with a range of conditions, including stroke, CIWA, chest pain, renal and respiratory failure
- Utilize tele monitoring equipment and perform cardiac drip set rates in line with unit protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure exemplary patient outcomes
- Participate in modified self‑scheduling, with schedules posted three weeks in advance
- Exposure to a wide variety of cases and advanced clinical technology
