(Blue Rose) is seeking a highly skilled SQL Database Administrator to support a federal program in Colorado Springs. In this role, you will ensure the stability, performance, and integrity of mission-critical database systems operating in a secure DoD environment.

You will develop and tune SQL queries, optimize database structures, implement design changes, and ensure reliable operations that directly support national-level objectives. What You'll Do As a SQL Database Administrator, you will:
* Serve as the primary Application DBA supporting SQL database operations
* Develop and optimize SQL reporting queries for mission applications
* Troubleshoot database issues and provide root-cause analysis
* Perform database and SQL statement performance tuning
* Review and implement database design changes to meet system requirements
* Write and maintain SQL code, including procedures, functions, packages, and triggers
* Support deployment activities and ensure reliable database performance
* Collaborate with engineering, application, and security teams in a fast-paced environment Schedule & Shift Details
* Full-time (40 hours/week)
* Onsite in Colorado Springs, CO
* Required in office Tuesday-Thursday (3 days/week)
* Weekend or flexible hours may be required based on mission needs Requirements
* U.S. Citizenship required
* DoD Secret Clearance
* Minimum 3-5 years experience writing and tuning SQL queries
* Minimum 3-5 years experience designing and implementing database structures
* Minimum 3-5 years SQL coding/scripting experience
* Experience with SQL (Structured Query Language) fundamentals and best practices
* Ability to work onsite 3 days per week in Colorado Springs, CO

Preferred Qualifications
* 0-2+ years experience with Microsoft SQL Server
* Experience supporting large-scale federal IT programs
