Emergency/Urgent Care Veterinarian (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine / Veterinarian)
West Ridge Animal Hospital in Greeley, Colorado is seeking an experienced Emergency/Urgent Care Veterinarian to join our well-established, privately owned companion animal practice. This is a unique hybrid position blending emergency care with routine outpatient medicine in a supportive, high-performing environment.
We’re looking for a confident and capable veterinarian who is ready to hit the ground running and perform emergency surgeries independently. If you're passionate about high-quality medicine and want to work with a collaborative, community-oriented team, we’d love to meet you.
Position Highlights- Full-time or part-time schedule available
- Mix of urgent care/emergency shifts and general practice appointments
- No overnight shifts
- Fully equipped hospital with in-house diagnostics, ultrasound, digital radiography, endoscopy, laser therapy, and advanced surgical suite
- DVM or equivalent degree, licensed (or able to become licensed) in Colorado
- Minimum 2–3 years of small animal clinical experience
- Proficient in common emergency surgeries, including splenectomy and cystotomy
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to high standards of care and client service

West Ridge Animal Hospital is an AAHA small and exotic animal hospital located in Greeley Co. It is a larger hospital with the staff of over 50 and 9 doctors. Our hours are Mon - Fri 8am - 9pm Sat. 8am - 5pm and Sun 9am - 1pm. West Ridge prides itself on working as one large team instead of several smaller ones.
