Job SummaryThe Education Research Assistant provides comprehensive support for research initiatives by conducting literature reviews, collecting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, maintaining secure research records, coordinating communication with project stakeholders, and assisting with the dissemination of research findings. Working closely with faculty, research partners, and participants, the position contributes to all phases of the research process to advance project goals and support high-quality scholarly work.
ResponsibilitiesResearch Design, Data Collection & Analysis
- Conduct literature reviews and support research activities through qualitative and quantitative data collection methods.
- Design and administer surveys, conduct interviews, collect and analyze research data, and assist with qualitative coding and interpretation of findings.
- Apply appropriate research methodologies to support project objectives and ensure the accuracy and integrity of collected data.
- Maintain organized research records and manage secure data storage systems in accordance with established protocols and confidentiality requirements.
- Organize research files, maintain documentation, and support the efficient administration of research projects to ensure data accessibility, accuracy, and compliance with applicable standards.
- Coordinate and participate in research team meetings, including scheduling meetings, preparing materials, and documenting discussion notes and action items.
- Manage relationships with multiple research partners and field site coordinators and communicate regularly with research participants and external stakeholders to facilitate project activities and ensure successful collaboration.
- Support the dissemination of research findings through the development of posters, presentations, reports, manuscripts, and other scholarly products.
- Assist with preparing research materials for internal and external audiences and contribute to the communication of project outcomes and findings.
Skills:
Communication centers on exchange and receipt of information but may involve basic collaboration with other employees. Interactions with others outside the organization are limited in that there is an expected handoff to another employee.
Technical Knowledge:Work requires intermediate skills and knowledge in approaches and systems, which support the design and implementation of major programs and/or processes.
Minimum Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year of experience in a related field
