Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks.
• Assist guests with their needs and resolve questions on the spot.
• Thank guests and acknowledge their choice to shop at Target.
• Receive products, restock shelves, organize the backroom, arrange merchandise, and post promotional signs for GM areas.
• Operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures if certified.
• Execute pricing changes, merchandise setup and maintenance, and maintain inventory accuracy as directed.
• Learn operational procedures related to merchandise setup, stock management, and sales floor maintenance to support store profitability and product availability.
• Be knowledgeable about store resources, products, and services to solve guest issues and improve their experience.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes (picking/packing orders, delivering pickup orders) while complying with laws and policies.
• All other duties based on business needs.

Physical and scheduling requirements

• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
• Climb ladders and move merchandise safely; frequently lift up to 44 pounds without assistance.
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable and prompt attendance.
• Work in varying temperatures and conditions, including Drive-Up and carryout duties.
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a shift; shift length may vary.
