Lowe’s is looking for a dedicated Sales Associate to help customers solve home improvement challenges. This full‑time position focuses on customer service, product knowledge, and merchandising in the Plumbing department.

As a Sales Associate you combine top‑notch customer service skills with genuine care for people to help customers feel comfortable while shopping at Lowe’s.

Welcome customers, assist with locating and handling merchandise, down‑stock shelves, process orders and deliveries, cross‑train in other areas of the store, prepare merchandise (e.g., tint paint, cut pipe), guide customers through shopping or checkout, and complete other duties as assigned.

• Welcome customers and deliver friendly customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Down‑stock merchandise and replenish supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately.
• Cross‑functionally train in other areas of the store.
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

• 6 months experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• 6 months experience with common retail technology (smart phones and tablets).
• Reading, writing, performing basic arithmetic.
• Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or over 25 lbs with or without an accommodation.

• Retail and/or customer service experience.
• Bi‑lingual skills.
• Certification in trade related to department (e.g., plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden).

This role does not require regular travel; however, occasional travel may be necessary for meetings, training, or support of neighboring stores.

Environmental factors vary by location. You may work both inside and outside weather conditions, exposure to varying climates, constant or intermittent noises, and possible lifting guidelines up to 75 lbs.

$16.00 – $17.30 per hour
