Experienced Roofing Foreman

Climb the Ladder of Success! Turner Morris is looking for an Experienced Roofing Foreman for Vail Valley and Summit & Grand County, Colorado area.

We are accepting applications for experienced roofing foreman in anticipation of future needs. While we are not hiring immediately, we are building a pool of qualified candidates for upcoming opportunities as our workload increases.

Founded in 1992 by two professional commercial roofers, Turner Morris was established with a mission to raise the bar in the commercial roofing business in Colorado and create a difference kind of roofing company-one that would emphasize safety, the fundamentals of character, competence and commitment.

• We are seeking an Experienced Roofing Foreman to directly supervise and coordinate the activities of our commercial roofing employees. This role involves leading a team responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial roofing systems. As a Foreman, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient completion of projects.
• Foster a positive and safe working environment and provide training to team members.
• Plan and coordinate daily activities for roofing projects, including resource allocation, material management, and personnel organization.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and adhere to safety and quality standards.
• Complete daily physical tasks to prevent leaks during roofing replacement projects.
• Among other responsibilities.

Full time, 8-10 hours shift, Monday to Friday. Overtime may be required.

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience and knowledge of commercial roofing systems, including EPDM, TPO, PVC, shingles, custom metal, concrete title, and asphalt roof systems.
• At least one (1) year experience in a supervisory or foreman role.
• A valid driver’s license, maintain a good driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Proficient in the use of roofing tools and equipment.
• Ability to identify problems, evaluate options, and implement effective and safe solutions.
• Reliable transportation to get to and from job sites and/or the shop in a timely manner.
• Proficient technology and written skills that allow for the use of a smartphone for required paperwork on Apps.
• Effective and professional communication skills, bilingual English Spanish is a plus!

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to weather conditions, occasionally exposed to fumes, sharp materials, vibrations, or airborne particles. Working at significant heights and inclinations. Personal protective equipment will be provided. Standing, walking, climbing ladders through the workday on a regular basis, repetitive bending and/or kneeling on hard and/or sloped roof surfaces.
