(Blue Rose) is seeking a skilled Sr. Java Developer to lead the design and development of secure, large-scale applications for a federal client. In this role, you will be responsible for:
Leading the design and development of multiple applications for a large-scale federal IT program using Java/Spring-based REST APIs, a Web 2.0 framework, and a continuous integration environment. Developing enterprise-grade Java/Spring solutions, conducting detailed design reviews, and guiding a team of software developers through the implementation process. What You'll Do As a Sr. Java Developer, you will:
* Provide technical leadership to development teams
* Design, develop, and maintain secure and scalable enterprise applications
* Perform detailed code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet mission objectives
* Ensure solutions meet federal security and compliance standards Schedule & Shift Details Full-time (40 hours/week) On site in Colorado Spring CO Requirements
* 8+ years of hands-on development experience, including at least 6+ years of Java/Spring development experience
* Significant experience developing applications using the Java Spring framework
* Proficiency with Java development tools (e.g., Eclipse, JUnit, Git)
* 3+ years of experience with web development technologies (JavaScript, HTML, JSP, etc.)
* 3+ years of experience in Agile Scrum development methodologies
* Fully adjudicated DoD Secret Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
* 6+ years of Java development experience in building enterprise applications
* 3+ years developing enterprise solutions using the Java Spring framework
* Detailed understanding of database schema design/SQL
