PHP Developer

IBM builds metrics-driven products used by teams worldwide, and we need a PHP Developer to push our platform to the next level. Lean on 1+ years of technology expertise to own projects, collaborate with a sharp team, and earn $65,000 - $101,000.

• Wire up Communication feature flags so IBM can test on Arvada traffic risk-free
• Carry the MySQL platform work that makes IBM's next CO expansion boring
• Identify bottlenecks and propose architectural improvements proactively
• Design, build, and maintain reliable backend services using Ruby on Rails and Communication
• Automate build, test, and deployment pipelines for faster release cycles
• Watch Communication error budgets and pump the brakes before Arvada, CO burns through them
• Wire MySQL APIs to Communication consumers so data lands where Arvada teams expect it
• Own the detail-focused edge cases in IBM's Ruby on Rails billing nobody else wants to touch

• Junior mastery of Ruby on Rails, validated by people who'd hire you again
• The kind of listening that makes the other person feel heard
• Sharp organizational skills and an ability to juggle multiple work streams
• Experience at the junior level inside a freelance role
• The kind of reliability that earns you the hard assignments

What sets IBM apart is an endlessly-iterating team in Arvada that treats every customer like a partner. The fastest way to earn standing at IBM is to make a teammate's hard problem disappear.

Beyond the $65,000 - $101,000 headline, we hand you a mentor, room to grow into junior work, and the freedom to shape your own week.

Confirmed unfilled today, IBM continues its search in real time.
