Role OverviewAs a VP on the Quantitative Equity team, you will play a key role in the day-to-day portfolio management, operational excellence, and ongoing evolution of TDAM's quantitative equity strategies. Working closely with Portfolio Managers and cross-functional partners, you will help ensure the efficient delivery, robustness, and scalability of all Quantitative Equity mandates.
This role is ideally suited for an experienced investment professional who combines a strong understanding of quantitative equity strategies with a passion for process improvement, risk control, and collaborative problem‑solving within a fast‑paced, time‑sensitive investment environment.
Key Accountabilities Portfolio Management & Strategy Support- Partner closely with Portfolio Managers to support the daily management of Quantitative Equity portfolios across all mandates.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the investment strategies, models, and solutions delivered by the Quantitative Equity team.
- Support timely execution of daily portfolio activities while ensuring adherence to investment guidelines and risk controls.
- Collaborate with Portfolio Managers and research colleagues on an active pipeline of research initiatives, contributing to the development and enhancement of quantitative strategies.
- Support the evaluation and implementation of new ideas, tools, and innovative investment solutions aligned with TDAM's long‑term objectives.
- Work closely with internal TDAM partners to understand existing operational workflows, systems, and technology infrastructure supporting the Quantitative Equity platform.
- Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce operational and portfolio risk, and improve scalability through automation, process re‑engineering, and workflow transformation.
- Contribute to the delivery of time‑sensitive processes within a strong risk‑controlled environment.
- Engage effectively with internal stakeholders across Portfolio Management, Trading, Risk, Operations, and Technology teams.
- Develop strong working relationships that support seamless execution and continuous improvement across the investment platform.
- CFA designation or CFA Level III candidate, plus a relevant undergraduate degree.
